Ottapalam hosted the Yonex-Sunrise KPS Menon Memorial Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament, bringing together badminton players from different age groups. The tournament featured men’s, women’s and Under-19 categories, giving players an opportunity to compete at a higher level and showcase their skills. The event also helped promote badminton and encourage young sporting talent in Palakkad district.
