Sree Visalakshi Sametha Sree Viswanathaswamy Temple is a historic Hindu temple in Kalpathy, Palakkad, dedicated to Lord Shiva (Viswanathaswamy) and Goddess Visalakshi. It is one of Kerala’s best-known Shiva temples and serves as the spiritual center of the historic Kalpathy agraharam (traditional Tamil Brahmin settlement), earning the affectionate title “Dakshina Kashi” (Kashi of the South) because of its association with the Kashi Vishwanath tradition.
