Kannambra Vela is a major traditional festival in Palakkad, celebrated by the Kannambra and Rishinaradamangalam communities. The festival features spectacular elephant processions accompanied by Panchavadyam and other traditional music. The processions from Kannambra Shiva Temple and Rishinaradamangalam Vishnu Temple conclude at Sree Kurumba Bhagavathi Temple, followed by cultural celebrations and fireworks.
